How to clean windows without streaks

The interior-window sequence

A streak-free centre is wasted if tracks, frames and seals immediately return dirt or water to the glass.
1 · Screen and loose debris
Remove the screen only when the model allows it safely. Brush or vacuum loose dust rather than washing it onto the pane.
2 · Sill, track and frame
Use the material-appropriate mild method. Do not flood tracks, hardware or unfinished wood.
3 · Glass
Apply mild solution with a soft tool, keeping abrasive materials and metal blades away from coated glass.
4 · Edge and hardware
Dry the perimeter, sill and any drips. Follow the manufacturer when hardware requires lubrication or care.
