The answer first
Clear the rental, clean each room and check it before arrival.
The order prevents fresh linen from landing in a dusty room, restocking from hiding an unclean shelf and a late maintenance surprise from becoming the next guest's first impression.
Clear the previous stay
Remove waste, used linen, forgotten food and guest items before the cleaning pass begins. Photograph and report damage or a lost item rather than mixing it into disposal.
Clean from high surfaces to floors
Work room by room through kitchens, bathrooms, sleeping areas and living spaces so dust and crumbs move toward the final floor pass—not back onto finished work.
Release only after the guest-view check
Check the entrance, odour, temperature, beds, bathroom, kitchen, supplies, lights and listing amenities from the perspective of someone arriving for the first time.
One turnover, five owners
Assign each task before checkout day.
A cleaner can complete an excellent clean and the turnover can still fail because linen, restocking, maintenance or access had no owner.
| Turnover layer | Required result | Who must own it |
|---|---|---|
| Departure reset | Waste, used linen, food and lost items handled | Host or assigned turnover lead |
| Cleaning | Selected rooms and surfaces completed to the agreed scope | NearMe cleaning professional |
| Linen | Clean, undamaged, correctly sized sets installed | Host, laundry provider or assigned team |
| Inventory | Guest consumables restored to the listing standard | Host or assigned restocking lead |
| Release inspection | No cleaning, maintenance, access or presentation blocker remains | Host or accountable turnover lead |
Room-by-room turnover
Clean what the guest uses, then check what the guest notices first.
The cleaning scope and the final host inspection are related but different. The second catches presentation, inventory and maintenance issues that are not ordinary cleaning tasks.
Kitchen
Clean reachable counters, sink, stovetop, appliance exteriors and floors; inspect dishes, cookware, coffee setup, refrigerator contents and odours against the listing promise.
Bathroom
Clean and sanitize the selected fixtures and reachable surfaces; inspect towels, toilet paper, bath products, drains, bulbs and visible maintenance concerns.
Bedrooms
Dust, vacuum and finish the room before installing clean linen; inspect mattress protection, stains, hair, bedside surfaces and the complete sleep setup.
Entrance and living areas
Finish floors, reachable surfaces and mirrors; inspect the first smell, lighting, keys, remote controls, Wi-Fi instructions and visible guest information.
Same-day turnover control
Protect the cleaning window before you promise the next check-in.
A tight window works only when checkout, access, laundry, maintenance and final inspection are timed as one operation.
Confirm entry before the cleaner travels
Share the working lock, fob, concierge or key process and a reachable contact for building-access failures.
Keep spare linen outside the critical path
Enough clean sets let the home be remade without waiting for one load to wash and dry during the turnover.
Separate ordinary soil from a maintenance event
Leaks, broken fixtures, pests, biohazards, heavy damage or unsafe waste require the right response before a routine turnover can continue.
Leave a release window
Do not schedule the final clean to end at guest arrival. The host needs time to inspect, correct and communicate before check-in.
NearMe's role
Use one documented cleaning scope inside a host-owned turnover system.
NearMe can provide one-time or recurring Airbnb cleaning based on the property, access, turnover window and selected work. Restocking, linen and same-day availability must be confirmed for the actual listing.
Send the listing standard once
Identify bed count, linen responsibility, consumables, permitted products, building access and any listing-specific presentation details.
Report material changes
A party, damaged fixture, excessive waste or pest concern is a different job condition. Early notice protects both the turnover and the next guest.
Review the first turnovers closely
Use the same release checklist until the home, access and timing become repeatable—then improve the process from actual exceptions.
NearMe customer evidence
Hosts need consistency across the clean—not only one impressive reset.
NearMe reviews describe detailed work, dependable recurring visits and support when schedules change.
Read our Google reviews ↗“I’ve tried a couple of cleaning services in Vancouver before, but NearMe has honestly been the most reliable so far. We’ve been using them for a few months now for regular cleaning, and the difference is consistency. The cleaners show up on time, they don’t rush through things, and the place actually feels properly cleaned after they leave. What I like most is that it doesn’t feel random every time like with other companies. There’s clearly a system they follow, which makes a big difference. Pricing is fair for what you get, and booking has been pretty smooth as well. No back and forth or confusion. If you’re looking for a dependable house cleaning service in Vancouver, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.”
“Got a Biweekly house cleaning services from the Nearme cleaning in Vancouver. It's been 7 months already Reliable and very Good pricing!”
“Prices are reasonable. Good cleaners and they provide their own supplies. You only need to supply your ow vacuum, mop, broom, etc. We initially got a cleaner who didn’t meet our standards, but they were able to send a better one after. Responsive with requests/inquiries. Had a couple of booking changes, but was able to correct within reason. Overall, good service!”
Questions before you decide
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers to the questions customers ask before choosing a service, schedule or cleaning company.
Separate departure clearing, room-by-room cleaning, linen, restocking, maintenance reporting and the final guest-view inspection. Assign an owner to each layer before the turnover begins.
Linen handling depends on the property and confirmed scope. Tell NearMe who supplies, launders and stages each set before the first turnover; do not assume full laundry is included in a general cleaning request.
Restocking requirements must be confirmed for the listing. Provide the product list, storage location and minimum quantities so NearMe can confirm what belongs in the turnover scope.
Allow enough time for access, clearing, the complete cleaning scope, linen, maintenance response and a final host inspection. The correct window depends on the property, bed count, condition and building access.
Unsafe waste, biohazards, pests, major damage, active leaks, heavy debris or inaccessible areas require the appropriate owner or specialist before ordinary cleaning can proceed.
NearMe Airbnb Cleaning starts from $98. The exact price is confirmed from the property, scope, access, turnover schedule and any approved extras.
